The impact of migration on the movement of literary translation from Arabic to Turkish from 2012 and 2022

The cultural interaction between the diverse literatures of the Arab world and those of Turkiye might prompt increased interest in comparative studies, and a resulting demand for literary translation between the two. Although migration has likely influenced this movement, both in terms of the quantity and quality, identifying that carried out between 2012-2022 is not simple. This research will focus on the impact of migration on the literary translation movement between Arabic and Turkish, between 2012 and 2022, to identify such work, the key individuals involved, monitor its development, triggers and themes, degrees of reciprocity, and the impact that it has had on cultural exchange between Arab and Turkish societies over the past decade.
