Main Workshop Aims

• To continue the action-research projects launched at the 6^th – 9^th September 2023 workshop, including:
  • Finalising research design for ethical review
  • Initial literature review (abstracts) 
  • Designing research instruments
  • Budgeting
• To review and apply principles of programme design to year one of undergraduate programmes (Engineering, Economics and Education Faculties)
• To convene the Learning, Teaching and Quality Committee to review terms of reference, membership, meeting dates and any other business

Key Learning Outcomes

• Competence in the principles of action-research design
• Competence in research instrument design to deliver desired data
• Understanding how to refine and focus research questions
• Reflecting on ethical constraints, requirements and responsibilities in the research process
