- Grammar practice: noun phrases, conditionals, article use, and linking words for academic communication.
- Listening and note-taking skills for academic lectures.
- Academic vocabulary development.
Level 3 (IELTS equivalent 5.0+)
Topics covered:
- Participating in academic seminars: expressing agreement and disagreement, interrupting, expressing reservation, holding the floor and other functional language.
- Strategies for reading academic papers efficiently.
- Referring to sources.
- Focus on accuracy in writing especially expressing the future and hedging.
