Dr Mahmoud Zinalabadin gives lecture at the V&A

Syria Programme participant and architect, Dr Mahmoud Zinalabadin, presented on his work on the historic city of Aleppo at the V&A as part of their Culture in Crisis: Architecture Responds event on 6 June 2023.

It explored approaches to the (re)construction of architecture within post-crisis environments as part of the V&A’s Culture in Crisis Programme during the London Festival of Architecture, 1st-30th June 2023.

This follows on from Dr Zinalabadin’s lecture “The Architecture of Aleppo City: From destruction to reconstruction” given at The Courtauld Institute of Art, U. of London (20/2/23) which hosted his Cara research incubation visit.
