Suhaib Ajam

Suhaib Ajam taught English at Al-Zahra University in Turkey. He gained his MA Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from Aleppo University. His research interests lie in foreign language acquisition and learning, and in issues surrounding child protection. Recently, his work has focused on education in Northwest Syria, and on raising awareness on the explosive remnants of war. He served as a protection project manager in the mine action sector at Shafak organization for three years (2018-2021) and is now running a Child Protection project with UNICEF in Northwest Syria.

صهيب عجم Suhaib Ajam درّس اللغة الإنجليزية في جامعة الزهراء في تركيا. حاصلٌ على شهادة الماجستير في تدريس اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية (TEFL) من جامعة حلب. تتركز اهتماماته البحثية على اكتساب اللغات الأجنبية وتعلمها، وعلى القضايا المتعلقة بحماية الطفل. ركز عمله مؤخرًا على التعليم في شمال غرب سوريا، وعلى رفع مستوى الوعي بشأن المتفجرات من مخلفات الحرب. عمل مدير مشروع الحماية في قطاع الأعمال المتعلقة بالألغام في منظمة شفق لمدة ثلاث سنوات (2018-2021) ويدير الآن مشروع حماية الطفل مع اليونيسف في شمال غرب سوريا.
