Prof. Kevin McDonald holds a doctorate from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (Paris) and is professor of Sociology at Middlesex University, London. He teaches and researches in the area of social movements, digital cultures, embodied subjectivity and the creation of shared worlds. His current research focuses on affective communications and embodied experiences in the reassembling of far-right extremism in Europe. He is an Expert Evaluator and Reviewer for the European Commission for Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programmes. His most recent book is Radicalization (Cambridge: Polity 2018).
