Mohammad Alobaidy

Dr. Mohammad ALOBAIDY holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering in Plant Physiology. He is a researcher at Van Yuzuncu University in Turkey, specialising in Nanotechnology and Forage Crops. He is also a member of a Cara Syria Programme facilitated academic research team that brings together British and Syrian academics to study wheat and pistachio value chains, soil pollution, and higher education in Syria. Mohammad currently works in the humanitarian sector in food security and livelihoods. He has coordinated and managed several projects with I/NGOs on food security, particularly related to wheat and vegetable value chains, and activities relating to farmers’ field schools, capacity building and women’s capacity development in vegetable processing, emergency food response and COVID-19.
