Dr Musallam Abedtalas

Musallam Abedtalas has a PhD in economics. He is interested in the economics of displaced, with a particular focus on refugees, internally displaced people (IDPs), and entrepreneurship. In Syria, he was an Assistant Professor at Aleppo University, and then moved to Turkey to take up the same post at Mardin Artuklu University. He is currently a Senior researcher at the German Development Institute (DIE).

مُسَلّم عبد طلاس حاصل على دكتوراه في الاقتصاد، ومهتم باقتصاديات المهجرين، ويركز خصوصاً على اللاجئين والمهجرين داخلياً وعلى ريادة الأعمال. وقد عمل عبد طلاس أستاذاً مساعداً في جامعة حلب، ثم انتقل إلى تركيا لتقلد نفس المنصب في جامعة ماردين أرتوكلو، وحالياً يعمل باحثاً أولاً في معهد التنمية الألماني.
