Dr Hassan Almohammed

Hassan Almohammed completed his master’s in 2008 at the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (EHESS), Paris, specialising in the theory and practice of language and fine art. He completed his PhD in 2009 at Université d’Auvergne (previously known as Université Blaise Pascal, Clermont-Ferrand II) in France. He was a professor in the French Department at Aleppo University where he taught courses on literary text analysis. He is interested in visual culture, such as documentaries and photographic art, and in cultural studies of the Middle East and the Arab Word. He is also passionate about media and communications, ecocriticism, French and Francophone Studies.

حسن المحمد حاصل على درجة الماجستير في مدرسة الدراسات المتقدمة في العلوم الاجتماعية في باريس في عام 2008، وتخصص في نظرية وممارسة اللغة والفنون الجميلة. وقد أكمل درجة الدكتوراه في عام 2009 من جامعة دي أوفيرني (المعروفة سابقًا باسم جامعة بليز باسكال، كليرمون فيران 2) في فرنسا. وكان أستاذاً في قسم اللغة الفرنسية في جامعة حلب حيث قام بتدريس دورات في تحليل النص الأدبي. وهو مهتم بالثقافة المرئية، مثل الأفلام الوثائقية وفن التصوير، والدراسات الثقافية للشرق الأوسط والعالم العربي. كما أنه شغوف بالإعلام والاتصالات، والنقد المجالي، والدراسات الفرنسية والفرنكوفونية.
