Cagla Meral Akgul

Cagla Meral Akgul received her BSc in Civil Engineering (2001) and MSc in Computer Engineering (2006) from Middle East Technical University (METU), Turkey. She obtained her PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering (2012) at University of California, Berkeley. She is currently a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering at METU. She focuses on interdisciplinary research on construction materials for developing sustainable, durable and multi-functional materials and their application to modern or historical structures

كاغلا ميرال أكغول (Cagla Meral Akgul) حاصلة على درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية (2001) وماجستير في هندسة الكمبيوتر (2006) من جامعة الشرق الأوسط التقنية، تركيا. وحصلت على درجة الدكتوراه في الهندسة المدنية والبيئية (2012) من جامعة كاليفورنيا، بيركلي. وهي حاليًا عضو هيئة تدريس في قسم الهندسة المدنية بجامعة الشرق الأوسط التقنية. وتركز على البحث متعدد التخصصات حول مواد البناء لتطوير مواد مستدامة ودائمة ومتعددة الوظائف وتطبيقها على الأبنية الحديثة أو التاريخية.
