Amal Kassir

Amal Kassir is a Syrian American poet, born and raised in Denver Colorado to an Arab father and an American convert mother. She has performed and taught in 13 countries and cities all over, in venues ranging from orphanages to refugee camps, and youth prisons to churches. She is a youth mentor, a writing teacher, and a traveling poet. She is also the programme manager of the Mental Wellness Program for Muslim Youth for Positive Impact in Colorado (mypi.org).

أمل قصير Amal Kassir شاعرة سوريّة أمريكية ولدت ونشأت في دنفر كولورادو لأب عربي وأم أمريكية اعتنقت الإسلام. درّست وعملت في 13 دولة ومدينة في جميع أنحاء العالم في أماكن متعددة، منها دور أيتام ومخيّمات لاجئين وسجون وكنائس. وهي مشرفة على الشباب ومعلّمة كتابة وشاعرة متنقّلة. وهي أيضًا مديرة برنامج الصحة العقلية للشباب المسلم من أجل التأثير الإيجابي في كولورادو (mypi.org).
